Chestnut Creek Stable is maintained and managed personally by the owners to ensure professional boarding and equine services.

 

 
 
  • Boarders have full use of stable facilities.
  • Owner/operators live on premises
  • Horses are checked morning and evening
  • All breeds/disiplines are welcome (no stallions please)

Options:

  
  Stall Board: $475.00------ For horses requiring stalling on a daily basis  
 
  • 12 x 12 Stalls with secure sliding doors.
  • Well ventilated with shade and prevailing breeze
  • Stalls cleaned daily, stripped and bedding replaced as needed
  • Twice daily feeding -house pellets and coastal hay (suppliments fed on request)*
  • Feeding options: (special feeds and diets available on request)
  • Daily turnout seven days a week (weather permiting). Large shaded paddocks with board fences ( also with secondary hot wire)*
  • Free choice coastal during turnout
  • Large water tanks in paddocks are filled as needed and cleaned to keep water as fresh as possible
  • Fans on request
  • Blanket / unblanket during cold weather.
  • Fly masking and or spraying if required*
  • Trace mineral block and salt block in each paddock
  • Horses may be turned out alone or be paired with a suitable "buddy" if such can be found**

 

  
  Full Board: $425.00-------For horses who prefer to be out but require their own stall  
 
  • Very large shaded paddocks with board fences ( also secondary hot wire)*
  • Horses remain out except extreme weather, heatlh confinement , etc. as necessary
  • 12 x 12 Stalls with secure sliding doors.
  • Stalls cleaned , stripped and bedding replaced as needed
  • Twice daily feeding -house pellets and coastal hay (suppliments fed on request)*
  • Feeding options: (special feeds and diets available on request)*

*We use a hot wire tape product that will break rather than injuring your horse. Wood paddocks and wire fences may cause injuries to your animals but once trained to hot wire they avoid testing the fence.
